The Traction Hobby Ford Bronco Raptor 1/8 Brushless RC Off-Road Car is a large-scale, officially licensed Ford RC platform built for realistic trail driving and demanding off-road terrain. Combining a detailed Bronco Raptor body with an advanced drivetrain, the truck offers selectable RWD, FWD and AWD modes, front and rear differential locks, a two-speed gearbox, and a Hobbywing Fusion 8IGHT FOC brushless system.
Its chassis uses independent front suspension (IFS) with a rear solid axle, giving the Bronco a realistic suspension layout while maintaining strong off-road capability. A FlySky 10-channel radio, multiple auxiliary servos, functional LED lighting and extensive scale detailing complete the Ready-to-Run package.
The Bronco Raptor comes equipped with a customized Hobbywing Fusion 8IGHT RTR FOC brushless system rated at 1800KV.
Its integrated 2-in-1 motor and ESC design provides smooth throttle response particularly useful for low-speed trail driving and technical off-road control.
The drivetrain also features a quick-change gear ratio system supporting 14T–21T motor gears, with a 15T gear installed as standard.
Unlike a conventional RC crawler with permanent four-wheel drive, the Traction Hobby Bronco provides multiple selectable drivetrain configurations.
Drivers can switch between rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, allowing the vehicle’s drivetrain behaviour to be changed according to the terrain.
Separate front and rear differential locks provide additional control when extra traction is required for rocks, loose surfaces and difficult trail sections.
An integrated planetary gearbox provides high and low speeds along with reverse, allowing the Bronco to adapt to different types of driving.
Low range is suited to controlled off-road driving and technical sections, while the second gear provides a different driving range for more open terrain.
The drivetrain incorporates metal transmission gears, 7mm thickened metal shafts and 5mm alloy-steel rods for increased durability.
The suspension arrangement follows a realistic off-road configuration with double-wishbone independent front suspension and a solid rear axle.
The rear axle supports differential locking and uses a nylon housing with a CNC axle cover.
Full-metal adjustable shocks are fitted at both ends, measuring 81mm at the front and 93mm at the rear, with 550CST shock oil specified.
Steering is handled by a TH1230 30kg coreless servo paired with a 25T metal servo arm.
Additional auxiliary servos operate functions such as the transmission, differential locks and selectable driving modes, giving the Bronco considerably more mechanical functionality than a basic RTR crawler.
The included FlySky FS-G7P+ 2.4GHz transmitter provides 10 channels along with a color digital LCD display and gyroscope.
Factory channel functions include steering, throttle, high/low transmission, RWD/FWD/AWD selection, front differential lock, rear differential lock and lighting controls.
A 1.5mm vacuum-moulded PC/Lexan body recreates the Ford Bronco Raptor at an impressive 1/8 scale.
Scale accessories include wipers, door handles, dashboard detailing, interior decorations and folding rear-view mirrors. A quick-release body system provides easier access to the electronics and chassis.
The truck is available in Orange and Grey.
The contact-pin lighting system combines SMT and LED elements throughout the vehicle.
Lighting functions include headlights, DRLs, hazard lights, turn signals, fog lights, reverse lights, bumper lighting, chassis lighting and dashboard illumination, adding significantly to the Bronco’s scale realism.

The vehicle comes as an RTR model with the brushless power system, radio equipment, servos, drivetrain and lighting electronics installed.
Battery and charger are not included. The battery compartment measures 150 × 46 × 40mm and supports compatible 2S–4S battery configurations with an XT60 connection.
